Founded in 1972 by Mr Willie Lilley.

Originally only 1 team {under 11's } for the first 3 years.

In 1975 other teams were formed.

Originally called Brechin City Boys.

Initially affiliated to the Aberbrothock league.

All matches were then played at the public park, Brechin.

There are now 10 boys teams and 2 girls teams representing  Brechin City Youths.
