Code of Conduct

We hope that all our youth members enjoy their football and at the same time have fun.

Behaviour of the children, both on and off the pitch and during training sessions must be of a high standard at all times. A few distruptive youths can spoil it for the majority.

Managers & Coaches must adhere to the SYFA code of conduct/good practise in all instances. It is important to remember that Managers/Coaches are volunteers who give up a large amount of their their time to coach the children football as well as a number of activities in order to run and organise a team.

As a Club we would encourage as many parents, family or friends as possible to come along to games and encourage our teams.

Parents behaviour is important as they serve as role models for their children. Become aware of this and work to be a positive role model. Applaud good play by your children's team as well as by the opposing team. Please refrain from being over critical of referees as this sets a bad example and reflects badly on Brechin City Youths as a club.

Parents are reminded that all strips/jackets, etc are the property of the CLUB and that they must be returned at the end of the season or when the child leaves the club for any reason. Youths are reminded that strips provided are to be used only on BCYFC match days and not worn on any other occasions. Your co-operation in this matter would be appreciated.

With regard to Disclosure Scotland Issues - The Club can accept no responsiblilty for youths whilst they are travelling to / from club activities.

All Managers/Coaches/Parent Helpers/players and their parents/carers/guardians require to comply with the club's code of conduct and must sign a copy endorsing this.
